Equipment Description

The Technocrane 15’ is the lightest and smallest SuperTechno telescopic camera crane for digital cinematography. Typically found within smaller indoor studios, this system expands filmmakers’ reach with minimal time, space, and budget.

The overall arm length extended is 16’3” with a maximum lens height of 15’ and a telescoping range of 8’2”, extending and retracting as fast as 4’9” per second. The base width is 2’7” with a minimum door clearance of 6’. The doorway base is equipped with pneumatic wheels, a push bar, and 4-wheel steering, allowing simple maneuvering through tight locations.

This crane can hold a max camera weight of 80 pounds. The telescopic arm is a fully functional arm when removed from the base and can be fixed to any other dolly using the appropriate adapters. You can take this crane with you into smaller and confined spaces, breaking the traditional requirements of using a crane for large-scale digital cinematography and television.

The Techno Head is designed to be integrated with the Techno 15 crane and is equipped with noiseless direct-drive motors, ensuring the ultimate precision with zero backlash. The crane arm’s swing and boom are equipped with factory-calibrated encoders. The pan bar with integrated focus dial and zoom rocker permits precise and intuitive control of the camera. With chrome handwheels made of precision-balanced solid steel, the Techno 15 Crane offers the classic “Hollywood style” control of pan and tilt.
