The Matrice M600 drones set the standard for Medium lifter drone technology for use in film production. The Matrice M600 UAS is capable of 11-15 minutes of flight time while carrying mid-size payloads.

Aerial shots in professional productions are a perfect way to set the scene and increase production value, yet its use in the past was limited due to budget and time constraints. Now, with the Matrice M600 drone, all of these aerial shots are accessible.

Many filmmakers choose to use the Matrice M600 drone because of the impressive maneuverability and efficiency that the drone offers while still offering a maximum takeoff carrying weight of 33 pounds, including a camera/gimble payload of up to 13.2 pounds.

Our experienced aerial operators know how to fly with methodical, smooth movements that create cinematic drone footage. With the payload flexibility of the Matrice M600, operators can film 360 Virtual Reality, DSLR, and other medium format cinema-camera packages with a prime lens.

To maximize flight time and image quality on most low-altitude missions, we recommend attaching a DSLR or Black Magic camera with a lightweight zoom to the Ronin-MX Gimbal.
