The Libra Head has been the industry standard in stabilized remote heads for more than two decades. It is compact, robust, and versatile. For this, it is the most trusted stabilized remote system in the world.
The Libra features what is widely considered, by camera operators, to be the most comfortable and smooth wheel control of any remote head on the market. This includes a fully digital system capable of detailed and accurate frame repeatability, shutter sync, vertical reference, and auto horizon.
Lightweight and compact, the Libra is capable of carrying camera packages up to 150 pounds. It is the dependable choice for shooting in any environment as it is constructed to be weather and water resistant capable of withstanding the harshest environmental conditions from -22 to +130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Libras are extremely versatile with their mounting capabilities in underslung, overslung, or horizontally mounted matrix mode. They are backed with a deep inventory of custom bracketry constructed to accomodate many years of out-of-the-box specialty rigs. The head itself weighs 56 pounds with an underslung minimum height of 28 inches and an overslung minimum height of 20 inches, and features a reliable 900 mhz transmitter/receiver package.
There is a wide variety of optional accessories to help you maximize the use of the equipment, including pan bars, wireless boosters, joysticks, handheld simulation units, mini 2-axis conversion kits, and breakaway wheels.
