Equipment Description
The MovieBird 17/20’ crane is a 17 or 20 foot telescopic camera crane that allows you to achieve fluid movements with extreme precision. It is an ideal crane for small sets due to its adjustable base and short back end.
The maximum lens height is 22’6” overslung with a telescopic range of 11’8”, extending and retracting as fast as 4’3” per second. The base chassis can adjust from 2’6” to 4’6”, which is great for crowded sets or smaller doorways. The arm length is 23’ overall.
MovieBird’s patented belt transmission system makes the crane faster and more stable than traditional cable-driven systems. Smaller in size and weight, this telescopic camera crane is an excellent option for camera car applications.
The 17/20’ crane is the smallest articulating crane from MovieBird, and its compact design makes it a fit for all filming locations, including small studio spaces.
